My love (forest love inspired )

You set out to the forest of heart.
To hunt down the one you love.
I saw you from afar, with a long pointed gun, loaded  with the bullets of LOVE.
Looking up to take a gulp from the stream of strength, I saw you taking me as a target.
Before I can shout for help and run to safety you fire the trigger.
Then I realized  the end has come.
Expecting  so much pain to pierce my soul but the bullet  brings  me peace and joy.
Only then did I realize  that you came to shot me LOVE.
All other hearts wished they could  be targeted  just like me.
